Otilia Dhand is an Institutional Relations Director at Temasek, a Singapore-based global investment firm, in Brussels. She is a former Managing Director at Teneo, the global CEO advisory firm, and a former member of the High-Level Advisory Group to the European Union Commissioner for Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, which assessed the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the European economy and society. Earlier in her career she specialised in Central and Eastern Europe political risk analysis and forecasting at Teneo, Eurasia Group and the Economist Intelligence Unit. She holds a PhD in Geopolitics from King’s College London, a degree in Russian and East European studies from St Antony’s College, Oxford University, and a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy, from Matej Bel University in Slovakia. Otilia is a member of the Board of Bruegel, a leading European think tank dedicated to improving the quality of economic policymaking through independent research and analysis.
